Astrakhan
The most famous lotus fields are located in the Astrakhan region on the territory of the biosphere reserve. They are located in the Volga delta and cover an area of over 5,000 hectares. Lotuses bloom here from mid-July to the end of August.
In the village of Belozerny, 11 km from Krasnodar, you can see the blooming of nut-bearing lotuses from mid-July to mid-August.

Another incredible lotus blooming place in the Krasnodar region is the botanical garden in the city of Krasnodar, which is over 40 years old. There are rare varieties here, such as yellow and white lotus.
